Hair loss is not often thought of in women. It is usually a man that is thought about when hair loss is mentioned. The truth of the matter is that women lose their hair frequently. It can be much more devastating to a woman to lose her hair. Women tend to hold all of their confidence in their appearance. It might not be the most appropriate source of self-esteem, but it is the truth for many women.
Women also tend to primp and fuss over their appearance more frequently than men do. When there is a hair loss a woman might be unsure of how she should act. Loss of self-confidence is a big problem for women who are losing their hair.
The esteem and self-confidence problem are the biggest issues a woman will have to deal with when she is having a hair loss. There has been some research in this field and treatments have been developed for hair loss in women. It will all depend on the reason for the hair loss, however. A woman should schedule an appointment with the doctor to determine the cause of the hair loss.
The reasons that a woman would lose her hair are different than a man’s reasons. Genetics is the cause of male hair loss, for women the reasons are varied. Read more…

Yesterday, I was part of a conversation where the main topic being discussed was the reasons to go eco-friendly. Now, while many of us have always been ignoring this, let me tell you this is significantly important – for us as well as for the generations to come.
During the conversation, there were people having all sorts of views and opinions. Let me share a few highlights. One of the most important reasons to go eco-friendly is to save the natural resources from depleting. Take toilet paper for example. It consumes a lot of trees to prepare the soft and fluffy toilet paper that we all prefer to use.
On the contrary there are better alternatives like the tissue prepared from recycled paper. But unfortunately it does not have many takers. Saving trees from getting cut – tops in the list of reasons to go eco-friendly. Saving water is another important one on this list. Remember, water is the basis of every life form. It being such a vital resource should never be wasted. Read more…
If a complete stranger came up to you in the street and said they had a natural food that could add years to your life, strengthen your immune system, and help you to feel more positive and contented, what would you say?
You would probably be very sceptical! And I wouldn’t blame you. If you’re like me, you’ve probably heard it all before. You’ve heard all the over-hyped and over-inflated claims, so would probably walk on past congratulating yourself that you hadn’t fallen for yet another scam!
Well, I’m that stranger and I definitely don’t want you to walk on past! I’m here to tell you that that food really exists and is available to you right now. I’m also here to tell you that the health claims made about it are true, and are backed up by solid scientific research. Somewhat surprisingly, the product I am talking about is – Chocolate!
We tend to view chocolate as a tasty, but basically unhealthy, sweet. We eat it when we are feeling low, give it to our partners on Valentine’s Day, and have it as a reward for something well done. But there is always that sense of guilt after we have consumed it – always that feeling that it is not really good for us. Read more…

How to be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise
It’s interesting that we spend our healthy years during the first half of our lives pursuing wealth….then we spend our wealthy years during the second half of our lives pursuing health. Does that seem “wise” to you? Your health is your wealth!! Be wise and do everything you can to protect it.
You can live young at any age when you feel good, and you can feel good when you develop a lifestyle that promotes wellness. A good habit to practice: consider drinking the proper amount of water your body needs every day. Figure half of your body weight in ounces daily. Divide that amount into five servings spaced 3 hours apart. Take 1/8 teaspoon of high mineral sea salt each time you drink your water, always a half hour before eating. Make sure you have good clean pure water (without chemicals or inorganic minerals) We have found Waterwise distillers to be the most efficient and economical method of thoroughly purifying water. Weight Loss through Hypnosis
Weight loss through hypnosis – it sounds so appealing doesn’t it – the whole idea of listening to a few words through your MP3 player and then watching the pounds simply drop off? But can you really lose weight through hypnosis? The short answer is that you will lose weight by making better choices when it comes to eating and exercising – you already knew that right?
However, when it really comes down to it, why do we eat that fast food that causes our waist-lines to bulge in the first place; why do we overindulge when our bodies our telling us that enough is enough; and why do habitually we sit at home rather than getting our running-shoes on and going for that benefit-laden jog? The answer is that we do those things that are ‘bad’ for our bodies –unconsciously – out of sheer habit! Read more…

Alcohol dehydration – also known as a hangover – is a familiar morning after treat for anyone who has ever had too much to drink. Without even considering any of the long-term negative effects of excessive alcohol intake, the impact of a hangover is enough proof of the fact that drinking too much is not healthy.
Alcohol is what’s known as a diuretic, which simply means that it causes an increase in urination. That means that the more alcohol a person drinks, the more they will feel the need to go to the bathroom. Need proof? Have a few beers. More urination means quicker water loss, and that is why we get dehydrated when we drink too much. And beer is not the only culprit. All alcoholic beverages have diuretic properties.
Besides boosting the desire to relieve ourselves, alcohol also depletes the body’s vital stores of vitamins and minerals. The lack of these important nutrients can send many body functions out of balance. This causes uncomfortable symptoms on multiple levels: headache, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, irritability – all the basics of a hangover.

Have you ever asked yourself this question, why is it today we have more obese people? Up 67% of the population are overweight today. There were a great lot less many years ago.
A few, but in no way were they around as they are today, and believe me it will get worse. It will not get any better unless people educate themselves. Unless they know why this is happening, the problem will continue to grow.
Think of this; in the 1950? and 60’s we never had so many obese people as we have today. In fact, I believe people did not get fat, they just did not like to draw attention to themselves.
I guess there were one or two around, however lot too many.
Don’t tell me it was because some of us did not have enough to eat, because even then we had those who were financially comfortable but did look after themselves. Their health and well being was as it should be.
We did not see overweight people as we see today. I recall I went to Las Vegas and observed numerous ladies sitting next to slot machines pumping in their quarters These ladies definitely fitted what I refer to as obese.
